CONSULTANCY SERVICE: Consultancy for Capacity and Resource Needs Assessment of Women and Ethnic Minority Rice Producers

 

Oxfam in Vietnam is currently seeking a qualified (team of) consultant(s)/consultancy firm to design and conduct a Capacity and resource needs assessment of women and ethnic minority rice producers in An Giang, Vinh Long, and Can Tho to inform the development and delivery of a tailored capacity development plan and design of appropriate support packages and financial schemes under the “Greening Our Rice: Gender-Just, Low-Carbon Rice Value Chains in Vietnam (GoRice)” project.

 

The purpose of this assignment is to deliver an integrated assessment that provides evidence to inform capacity development interventions, strengthen extension support systems, and enhance the adoption of CSR practices among target rice producers.

 

The assignment aims to achieve the following specific objectives:

  1. Assess the capacity needs of women and ethnic minority rice producers to identify gaps in leadership, entrepreneurship, negotiation, and financial literacy for developing tailored capacity development plan.
  2. Identify specific resource needs and collect inputs to design appropriate support packages and financial schemes.
  3. The assignment will be conducted in An Giang, Can Tho, and Vinh Long provinces.
